July 18th is the date for this year's Great Car Show, a benefit for the Kansas City Automotive Museum and the National WWI Museum and Memorial. Come on out for a day with your Benz friends and an acre or two of cars, trucks and automotive what-have-you of every description. The museum insists that cars park on the museum lawn in the exact order in which they arrived. Therefore, if you wish to park with your fellow clubmembers, we'll first meet off-site at the Your Classic Ride parking lot on 27th Street between Grand Blvd. and Warwick Trfy. anytime after 8:00 a.m. We'll leave the parking lot in a caravan at 8:45 a.m. for a very short trip to Memorial Drive and que for entry to the show grounds and placement. Please bring your own lawnchairs for seating. The club will have a pop-up awning for some shade and your ticket includes entrance to the museum and air conditioning. Coolers are permitted but outside alcohol is not. The show opens to spectators at 10:00 a.m.
